Clean beauty is interpreted differently by each company. Following a strict interpretation, clean products are free of BHA, BHT, Ceteareth 20, EDTA, Ethanolamines, Emulsifying wax, Formaldehyde, animal products, Hydroquinone, Methylchloroisothiazolinone and Methylisothiazolinone, Methyl Cellosolve and Methoxyethanol, Nitro & Polycycli Musk, Parabens , PEGs, Petrolatum and Paraffin, Phthalates, Polysorbates 20 and 40, Resorcinol, Silicone, Steareth 20, Sulfates, Toluene and Triclosan Triclocarban.
